Alejandra Campos is a junior expert on gender and energy. She is co-founder and coordinator of  International Relations of ​​the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Women´s Network (REDMEREE), an organization in which she has developed and coordinated various initiatives to train and make women visible in the energy sector with strategic international allies. Her work has been recognized by key stakeholders of the industry at a national level, with a nomination for MIREC Awards in 2019.

Alejandra had been a gender and energy consultant for the Sustainable Energy Program of the German Cooperation for Sustainable Development in Mexico (GIZ), where she was responsible for analyzing, mainstreaming and developing projects with a gender perspective. She has also conducted gender analyses for different projects of renewable energy and she has advised women in energy at a regional level for the articulation of women movements and networks in Latin America. Alejandra has participated in national and international events as a speaker acknowledging gender and energy issues.
